Common questions
Do I need to create an account?
No. Upload your document, enter the recipient's number, pay, and you're done. Nothing to sign up for.
What happens if the fax doesn't go through?
We retry automatically up to three more times. If it still fails after four total attempts, you're refunded in full, no need to ask.
What file types can I upload?
PDFs, documents, and images up to 40MB. PDF is preferred and counted directly; DOC, DOCX, JPG, PNG, TIFF, and TXT are also accepted, we convert them to PDF automatically.
Is this suitable for medical or legal documents?
Faxes are transmitted over an encrypted network, and your file is encrypted in storage too. If your organization has specific regulatory requirements for the type of data you're sending, check our Privacy Policy for details first.
Do you support fax numbers outside the US?
Yes, to 75 countries. Enter your recipient's number with its country code and we'll confirm right away if we can reach it. See the full list in our FAQ.
