Privacy Policy

Last updated: July, 2026

FaxAPage ("FaxAPage," "we," "us") is operated by Lunni Solutions LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you use FaxAPage to send a fax, how we use it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it.

Information we collect

When you use FaxAPage, we collect:

  • The document you upload. This may contain personal, financial, medical, or other sensitive information depending on what you choose to fax.
  • The recipient's fax number.
  • Your email address, only if you provide one for delivery confirmation. It's optional.
  • Payment information, which is collected and processed directly by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.

Technical details like your IP address and browser type pass through our hosting provider and payment processor as a normal part of serving web pages and processing payments, the same way they would for any website. We don't separately collect, log, or store that information ourselves, and we don't use it for anything beyond what those providers need to do their job.

We do not require you to create an account, and we don't collect a name, password, or physical address.

How we use this information

  • To transmit your document to the recipient fax number you provide.
  • To process payment, and to issue a refund automatically if delivery fails after our retry attempts.
  • To send a delivery confirmation, if you provided an email address.
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the service.
  • To provide customer support if you contact us about an order.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use the content of your documents for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond sending your fax.

Document retention and deletion

Your uploaded document is stored only for as long as it takes to complete your fax. Once your fax is successfully delivered, or refunded after failing to deliver, we delete the document from our storage. We do not keep an ongoing archive of documents you've sent through FaxAPage.

Records of the transaction itself (recipient number, page count, price paid, delivery status, and timestamps) are retained longer for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance purposes, but the document content is not.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of trusted third-party service providers to operate FaxAPage, each with access limited to what they need to do their job, such as host our website, process payments and refunds, deliver emails, transmit your document over the fax network to the recipient number, and store order data securely. These providers receive only the minimum data necessary to perform their specific function and are contractually prohibited from using your data for any other purpose.

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your data under any circumstances.

Security

Documents are stored in a private, access-controlled storage bucket and are never made publicly accessible. Transmission to our fax carrier uses a time-limited, signed link rather than a public URL. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we don't treat that as a reason not to take reasonable precautions.

A note on regulated data

FaxAPage does not currently hold formal compliance certifications such as HIPAA. If you are faxing protected health information or other data subject to a specific regulatory framework, you're responsible for confirming that using FaxAPage (or any similar pay-per-use service) meets your organization's compliance obligations before you do so.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about a specific order, or to delete transaction records we're not otherwise required to keep for legal or accounting reasons, by contacting us at support@faxapage.com. Because we don't require an account, we can only act on requests we can reasonably verify are tied to a specific order (for example, an order ID or the email used at checkout).

Children's privacy

FaxAPage is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of FaxAPage after a change means you accept the updated policy.
